For The Story

What is this game?

"For the Story" is a Descended From the Queen role-playing game about heading home from a house party. You and your close friends or partners are recapping the night's festivities, remembering moments of intrigue, surprise connections, and epic fails. As you reconstruct what happened together, you will finally decide if the night was bitter or sweet for you.

The game is loosely inspired by the final ritual from the holiday of Passover. As such, the final prompt is called the Afikoman and asks you to reflect on your final action at the party.

How to play

In a Descended From the Queen game there is no direct roleplay. Instead you construct a story by taking turns drawing cards and answering a series of questions.
